Building a legacy for Emirati Society

BRIEF

The council was looking to distinguish itself as a government entity and create an approachable brand for Emiratis, with a meaning behind it. As it is the role of the Abu Dhabi Tawteen council to achieve full sustainable employment for every Emirati.  

CHALLENGE

To create a powerful and meaningful brand through which the values and traditions can relate to Emiratis. The values and traditions of Emiratis are preserved in the heart of people who have learnt in their turn these values from their forefathers. The youth of day and tomorrow will play a big role to preserve and plant new seeds of action in order to build a legacy through their unity.

SOLUTION

The identity is a visual presentation of 'ibni' as it shows layers building and growing upon each other, beginning in the center and growing outwards. This movement will not only effect today and the near future, its ripple effect will be like a drop in the sea, where the effect will start in the centre and keep on growing to resonate with the whole of the UAE; drawing it’s cues from the natural world, the rings where inspired from the iconic Ghaf tree. A natural and seamless design that is more approachable and friendly.  The look & feel supports this presenting a brighter forward looking set of communications that are optimistic in outlook, encouraging through work Emirati’s to grow their own future. The look & feel where applied on a full roll out across all their applications.
