In this sector it has proven to be particularly challenging to obtain loyal corporate clients, yet Yas Links will need this audience group to achieve critical mass. How to best convey the continuing challenges and rewards of playing a Links Course? In addition, Yas Links needed to find a unique point of differentiation, both functional and emotional, given the vast amount of Golf courses in the region. |

SOLUTION

It was recognized that part of the attraction should be build around the key motivation of a Yas Link Golf player, seeking the ultimate ‘provocation’. The central idea of the brand therefore conveys "the purest challenge” whilst being classic, contemporary and fresh in its expression." The brandmark is a visually distinct symbol, reading the word yas in Arabic, whilst creating a shape that resembles that of the long blades of grass found on the Links’ Courses.
